Over the last few weeks it had been getting colder and colder, and all of a sudden, a bit of warmth and the all the deciduous trees burst into life. The great thing about where we live is we are in an old neighbourhood with lots of mature flowering trees. This tree below is our neighbours, and when it comes into flower all the birds come from everywhere to break their winter fast. Always an awesome sight.
Wow!... what an amazing day. I had the pleasure of spending the day via a G+ Hangout with photograpger extraordinaire Jaime Ibarra (https://plus.google.com/113464569897311842405).
For those photographer buddies on my page, I would highlyecommend that you spend some time looking at Jaime's work, and if at all possible doing a tutorial with him. His knowledge, skill and expertise, is very impressive. What I also like about Jaime is that he is just the nicest guy, truly gifted and willing to share with his knowledge.
For those of you who like looking a nice pictures, I would recommend stopping by his website http://ibarraphoto.com/ and enjoying some fine art.
Well the weather done here in Perth is starting to warm up ... last night it was even 10C. Anyway, the spring flowers are on there way, with a couple of early starters. This is a recent shot from a photowalk I did whilst the lad was out on the bike... I'm still not allowed back on the bike... soon though.
