A photo from the Rydges hotel...a lot of the guys got some great shots of this fantastic building. Very interesting and bold.
Through a door... one of the challenges was to shoot interesting doors and windows. I like this image... something a little different and something that you look at a bit longer than normal. If I had my time again, I would try and reduce the reflection off the black door.
Love these stunning steps in Northbridge. Bright colourful and not easily missed. Even after a big night out! Now you can just see some writing on the steps, but it is a 7-step stanza :D
Light contrast and a bit of interest this time. Strong contrast and form. Another image from the photowalk. Hardest thing about the photowalk is looking for images that are not what you normally take. So love doing the photowalks.
Do you want to come on the next one?
An arty pic of the guys photographing some weird place I took them too... in the back of somewhere... it smelt very funky!
The colour version of this is awesome but what captured me was the form and contrast of the different buildings...hence, its black and white now. Cheers
A few of you will know that I love the symmetry and form of nature. This is the stem of a very large palm tree.
Can you work out what this one is? It captured my attention... I think it would look great as a big print.
The series of images and posts are from a recent photowalk. The theme was out of the way urban places around the city.
